What is EQ?
Emotional intelligence (otherwise known as emotional quotient or EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict. Emotional intelligence helps you build stronger relationships, succeed at school and work, and achieve your career and personal goals. It can also help you to connect with your feelings, turn intention into action, and make informed decisions about what matters most to you.
Using concepts from Mindful Self Compassion (Kristin Neff & Christopher Germer), Permission to Feel (Marc Brackett) and Emotional Agility (Susan David) this group will increase understanding, build and practice skills of emotional awareness, control, and expression; improve your ability to engage in personal and professional relationships with clarity and empathy; effective strategies to improve your relationship with yourself and your relationships with others.
$35 per session. Insurance coverage possible.
GROUP WILL BE HELD IN A LARGE OPEN SPACE, ALLOWING FOR AT LEAST 6FT BETWEEN PARTICIPANTS.
